The 'peace and love sign’ was designed in the 1950s by Gerald Holtom and was, along with the peace hand sign, adopted by anti-war activists during the 1970s. The name 19-69 stands for just this: freedom, tolerance, and counterculture. The scent Chinese Tobacco by 19-69 is also a reminiscence of a visit to a restaurant in Kuala Terengganu. It was late at night, and the air was filled with wonderful aromas from the kitchen area, while a group of men smoked and played cards.
