Lizio Table Runner

This lovely organic cotton table runner is hand-printed using the ancient blockprint technique in Jaipur, India. It pairs perfectly with the other pieces in the Table collection and is equally beautiful on its own for decorating a table. The runner measures 50 x 150 cm.

The workshop Table collaborates with has been using this technique for four generations and is Sedex-certified, a label guaranteeing social and ecological commitment throughout the manufacturing process.

Block printing is an artisanal technique that accentuates the "colouring" effect, giving the item an imperfect look. Pieces are illustrated with patterns drawn in three ranges of bright colours by Table's Caroline and Alice in their Marseille workshop. The designs are inspired by elementary geometric shapes: stripes, checks and polka dots.
