In February 2015, Claudie Brassard, founder of Nos Cabanes, began her journey into Quebec's terroir, which led her to maple syrup. By visiting local markets and connecting with producers, she discovered their rich family histories, often spanning generations. These findings and relationships inspired her to create a business showcasing the qualities and beauty of this traditional Quebec product.

Nestled in the serene highlands of the Lower St. Lawrence, this maple sugarbush first sprang from the rocky, rugged soil of the Appalachian Mountains over a century ago. Its current owners continue to marvel at how this seemingly arid and challenging land produces such a richly flavoured amber syrup with the beloved hint of maple taffy. This syrup has received the 2021 Silver and 2019 Bronze Awards from La Commanderie de l’érable.
